Bethesda has announced a large-scale tech test for Quake Champions that will run from May 12th to May 21st, and to make it as big as possible the test is open to all those who sign-up for it.

When the large-scale tech test begins on May 12th the NDA will also drop, this means that those who participated in the closed beta and those wishing to participate in the upcoming tech test will be able to stream, capture, and publicly discuss the game.

Included in the open tech-test and NDA drop announcement press release was the announcement of a new game mode. The new mode called Sacrifice is a 4v4 team-based competitive mode and will be playable for the first time during the upcoming large-scale tech test.

For those unaware of Quake Champions, is a PC exclusive multiplayer focused first person shooter developed by id Software. In the game, players can choose from a number of characters (champions), each of which boasts their own set of unique skills. Quake Champions is set to be a fast-paced arena-based shooter, and it will not be released on consoles due to their technical limitations, as Quake Champions is set to run at an unlocked frame rate with 120HZ gameplay.
