Deep Silver has released a new story trailer for Homefront: The Revolution. The trailer offers some story details and info on an important character.

One of the key points of the video is the mention of Benjamin (Ben) Walker aka the voice of freedom. Benjamin Walker appears in an audio format via his Voice of Freedom broadcasts during the first Homefront game. Benjamin Walker is also in the Homefront: The Voice of Freedom novel where he plays the leading character and documents the occupation of the United States by the Greater Korean Republic, by the end of the book Benjamin escapes the Western United States by finding a way across the now irradiated Mississippi River.

Benjamin Walker’s role in Homefront: The Revolution appears to be that of the leader of the Philadelphia Resistance. Personally, I’m glad that Benjamin is in this upcoming game, as I loved his character from the book. Personally, I hope the game explores the character’s reasoning for heading to the East coast, and what he left behind.

Homefront: The Revolution will be available on May 17th, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
