Roy and Ryu join Super Smash Bros.
Nintendo has started E3 2015 early with the announcement that Street Fighter’s Ryu and Fire Emblem’s Roy are now available for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS.
Unfortunately all this DLC isn’t free, below is the cost of each above-mentioned pieces of content:
- Ryu + Suzaku Castle stage – 3DS = £5.39, Wii U = £5.39, 3DS/Wii U = £6.29
- Roy – 3DS = £3.59, Wii U = £3.59, 3DS/Wii U = £4.49
- Lucas – 3DS = £3.59, Wii U = £3.59, 3DS/Wii U = £4.49
- Dream Land stage – 3DS = £1.79, Wii U = £1.79, 3DS/Wii U = £2.69
- Mii Fighter Outfits (Isabelle, Heihachi, Akira, Jacky, Zero, MegaMan.EXE, Inkling, and Inkling squid) – 3DS =£0.69, Wii U = £0.69, 3DS/Wii U = £1.09 (this price is per outfit)
- Mii Fighter costume bundle #2 (all of the above mentioned outfits) – 3DS = £5.52, Wii U = £5.52, 3DS/Wii U = £8.72
- Collection #2 (All the above mentioned outfits and fighters) – 3DS = £19.88, Wii U = £19.88, 3DS/Wii U = £26.88
It seems that Nintendo really has kicked things off with a bang, with Ryu making his Smash debut and Roy returning to the franchise. With this announcement out of the way, it makes me wonder what Nintendo has up its sleeve for their Nintendo E3 digital press conference on Tuesday.
