Ever wonder what would happen if you combined Minecraft with LEGO? Well, worry no more, as Warner Bros. Games in partnership with LEGO Group has announced LEGO Worlds, a game where you can build anything you want from LEGO.

LEGO Worlds, which will be developed by TT Games, will allow players to roam around a limitless collection of procedurally generated world made entirely out of LEGO bricks, where players build their own unique environments and define their own experience. Now if you have ever played Minecraft you might be wondering, what’s the difference between this game and Minecraft? Well from the above trailer, the main difference is that LEGO Worlds gives you access to nearly the entire LEGO collection, this means if building structures with just bricks seems like too much work you can use a LEGO building set, which are digital versions of commercially available sets.

LEGO Worlds is currently available right now via Steam’s early access program, with the Steam store page stating that the game will be fully released in early 2016. Those who decide to purchase the game now will have access to the five following features: Procedurally Generated Worlds, Terrforming and Building tools, Discoveries and Unlocks, Rideable Creatures and Vehicles, and Day/Night Cycle. The full version of the game will have many more features including a like/dislike system for tailoring world generation, LEGO ID integration to allow for sharing and uploading of in-game builds, cut/copy/paste chunks of landscape, and much more.

About LEGO Worlds:

EXPLORE. DISCOVER. CREATE.

LEGO Worlds is a galaxy of procedurally-generated Worlds made entirely of LEGO bricks which you can freely manipulate and dynamically populate with LEGO models. Explore each World and unlock new discoveries: from cowboys and giraffes to vampires and polar bears, to steamrollers, race cars, and colossal digging machines! Use the multi-tool to shape environments and alter any World to your liking: raise the terrain to create vast mountain ranges, or enter the Brick-by-Brick editor to build anything you can imagine. Save your creations to build with them again. LEGO Worlds enables you to populate your Worlds with many weird and wonderful characters, creatures, models, and driveable vehicles, and then play out your own unique adventures. Probably not worth upsetting the Skeletons though…
