Hatsune Miku: Project Diva f gets a western release date
After 25,000 like and 15,000 shares in less than 3 days. Sega has announced that “Hatsune Miku: Project Diva f” will be released in Europe and North America this August for the PlayStation 3.
If you can’t wait until August to play the game, Sega will be releasing a demo via the PlayStation Network on June 11th (June 12th for Europe).
“It’s very rare that we’re able to answer the overwhelming support and demand for a game like Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F,” said John Cheng, President and COO, SEGA of America via Sega’s official announcement. “And we’re excited to be able to deliver this creative and unique experience for the western audience to enjoy.”
Crypton Future Media’s Vocaloid software which Hatsune Miku is a part off has become increasingly powerful in the West. The Hatsune Miku Facebook page has over 950,000 English fans, and in 2011 she and the other Vocaloid packed the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles for the first ever western Vocaloid concert.
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva f will feature 38 unique songs including Tell Your World and Black Rock Shooter. Players will also be able to create their own Miku videos in “Edit Mode” and customise the game’s characters with over 90 costumes and 100 accessories.
I don’t know about anyone else, but as a Vocaloid fan I can’t wait to play this game.
