The pre-order bonus and Limited edition have being announced by EA and DICE for the UK. With the pre-order count already 10 times more than the previous Battlefield titled Battlefield: Bad Company 2. There will be 3 pre-order bonuses available and they are spread across 3 UK stores.

But before we look at the pre-order bonuses let us look at the Limited Edition. The limited edition version of Battlefield 3 comes with the Back to Karkand map pack for free (Will cost £11.99 to buy separately). This is a good edition since not all stores will be giving out the physical warfare pack pre-order.
Now onto the pre-order bonuses. The first is one everyone knows and that is “Physical Warfare Pack”. The bonus will be 3 exclusive weapons which are the Type 88 Light Machine Gun, SKS Sniper rifle flash suppressor and finally the lethal armor-piercing flechette ammo for the DAO-12 semi-automatic shotgun. This pre-order bonus can be got via GAME, Gamestation and at Origin.
The second is the “SPECACT Kit. The bonus is a set of 8 unique multiplayer skins, 1 for each class. The pre-order bonus can be got via Amazon.
The third and final pre-order bonus is the “Dog Tag Pack”. The dog tags serve as the player’s in-game signature which allow gamers to customize their soldiers. Dog tags will splay on screen every time a player takes down an enemy or claim an opponent’s dog tags. The pre-order includes 5 new, unique dog tags. The pre-order bonus can be got via play.com.
