Idea Factory International has announced that Megadimension Neptunia VIIR will be coming to Europe and North America on PSVR and PS4 in Spring 2018.

Megadimension Neptunia VIIR is an enhanced version of 2016’s Megadimension Neptunia VII (SGGaming Info’s PS4 review/PC review) with the game featuring smoother graphics courtesy of a new engine, a revamped battle system, and a completely new VR experience.

According to Idea Factory International’s press release, the VR experience will allow you to interact with the game’s main characters inside the player’s room. Essentially, the VR interaction will be a one-on-one experience with the characters talking to you, you answering questions and the characters just walking around the room looking at you.

While the VR will likely be the primary reason for people to play the game, the renovated battle system does seem interesting. Idea Factory International said the following regarding the renovated system, “A renovated battle system allows you to set each attack combo mid-battle and introduces new elements of strategy and resource-management.”
