The organisations behind Dublin Comic Con and Celtic Throwdown have announced Games Expo Ireland, aka GXI, an Irish gaming event which is being held in the RDS on November 25th and 26th.

The upcoming gaming event will feature a number of video game voice actors, various gaming tournaments, a retro gaming zone, tabletop games, cosplay competition, and numerous panels featuring industry professionals, educational institutions and game developers.

The voice actors at GXI include:

• Peter Jessop is a well-known voice actor who has appeared as Miraak of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim DLC Dragonborn and as Paladin Danse from Fallout 4.
• Carolina Ravassa is most well known for her performance as Sombra in Overwatch.
• Anjali Bhimani will also be in attendance and is most well known for voicing Symmetra from Overwatch and Nisha from Fallout 4.

The tournaments available will include Street Fighter V, Rocket League, Tekken, Hearthstone and Mario Kart. The Retro-gaming zone will feature consoles and games from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s. Tabletop games will include Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic the Gathering, Ultimate Werewolf, Avalon, Zombie Dice, and Exploding Kittens (fingers crossed for some casual Cards against Humanity).

Tickets for the event are available through the official Games Expo Ireland website and the cost ranges from €15 for a child to €90 for a VIP (a standard adult ticket is €30) ticket.
