Dragon Ball FighterZ gets a release date and two new characters announced
Dragon Ball FighterZ will be released earlier than expected as Bandai Namco Entertainment has moved the game’s release forward from February to January 26th for PS4, XBOne and PC.
Along with the release date announcement, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced two new characters, Captain Ginyu and Nappa. Here is what the Bandai Namco Entertainment press release had to say about these two characters, “Captain Ginyu is a powerful character having the ability to switch himself with the opponent’s fighter lasting until the end of the fight. Nappa is a heavy type character using the Saibamen to attack the enemy. Using the Saibamen correctly could help Nappa gain time to charge energy or prepare a combo.”
New information regarding the digital versions of Dragon Ball FighterZ has also been revealed, and most eye-catching of which is that the FighterZ Pass (season pass), which is included with the FighterZ edition, will add eight new characters to the roster. Those who purchase the Ultimate Edition will get the pass and a commentator voice pack and anime music pack. The music pack will include 11 songs from the anime including “CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA” and “WE GOTTA POWER”.
