Gravity Rush anime bridges the gap between Gravity Rush 1 and 2
Sony Interactive Entertainment has released Gravity Rush – Overture, a 20-minute Gravity Rush anime that bridges the gap between Gravity Rush and its upcoming sequel Gravity Rush 2.
The below anime is produced by Studio Khara, the animation studio best known for the Rebuild of Evangelion movie series. It is worth noting that you will need to turn on subtitles/closed caption, as the language the characters speak is the game’s made up language.
Gravity Rush 2 is the latest edition in SCE Japan Studio’s gravity-based action adventure series. Created solely for the PlayStation 4, this game boasts vastly improved graphics while expanding on its story, action, and all other elements for one giant leap forward from its predecessor. The story is set just a bit after the events of the previous game’s conclusion. Kat, her partner Raven (also a shifter), and Syd the police officer set out to investigate strange gravitational waves manifesting over Hekseville—culminating in the crew being swallowed up by a gravity storm of unprecedented scale. Kat is then taken to a strange mining city in a remote dimension, the starting point for the gravity princess’s new and thrilling adventure.
Gravity Rush 2 will be available January 20, 2017, exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
