InXile Entertainment’s Wasteland 3 has reached their $2.75 million funding target in three days, October 5th to October 8th.

InXile Entertainment’s used Fig.co to help fund their party-based role-playing game, and while the target of $2.75 million has being passed the game has another 24 days of funding left, in fact at the time of writing the game has raised $2,820,115. Like most companies, that use fig.co or Kickstarter inXile Entertainment has set a series of stretch goals, the first of which will be activated when they reach $2.85 million.

According to the Wasteland 3 Fig.co page, Fig is only one of three budget generation streams. The apparent budget break down for the game is 40% Fig, 40% InXile and 20% outside sources. There is also something worth noting regarding the company’s reasoning behind using Fig, and that is inXile’s CEO Brian Fargo is on the Advisory Board of Fig, credit to inXile for telling people, although it is annoying that this piece of information is at the bottom of the funding page.
