Nintendo confirms Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon
During a short six minute Nintendo Direct, The Pokémon Company celebrated Pokémon’s 20th anniversary by announcing Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon for the 3DS.
Apart from the announcement of the two new Pokémon games, there was a short video celebrating the 20 years of Pokémon, and the reveal that Pokémon caught on the upcoming digital versions of Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow will be transferable to the new Pokémon games via the Pokémon Bank.
Concerning Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, there wasn’t much information. We learned that the number of languages supported will be increased from seven to nine, with the two new languages being Chinese (simplified) and Chinese (traditional). We also learned that Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will be released worldwide in holiday 2016.
