Today, Sega has announced a brand new Hatsune Miku Diva game entitled, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X, for PS Vita and PS4. The Vita version is due out in March 2016 with the PS4 due out later the same year.

Today’s announcement comes as Sega and Crypton Future Media celebrates the virtual idols 8th birthday. Project Diva X is the first Hatsune Miku Diva game to be announced for the PlayStation 4, and it is the eleventh game in the popular rhythm game franchise.

Currently Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X will only be released in Japan, but with recent Hatsune Miku games such as Diva F, and Diva F 2nd receiving international releases it is not outside the realm of possibility that Project Diva X will get an international release.
