Today, Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment for PlayStation 4 has been delayed until August 4th.

Bandai Namco Entertainment has given no explanation as to why the digital only title will miss its originally planned release date by a week.

Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment will players take control of the show’s main character, Kirito, and fight through all the levels of Aincrad to break free from being locked within the virtual game world. Those who own the Vita version of the game will be able to transfer some items from the Vita version to the PlayStation 4 version.
