Xbox One to launch on November 22nd in selected countries

Microsoft has announced that their brand new console, Xbox One will be released on November 22nd in thirteen countries.
The thirteen launch countries are: Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, UK and USA. The Xbox One will be released in more countries in 2014.
To go along with the release date announcement, Microsoft has announced that they have increased the consoles CPU from 1.6 GHZ to 1.75GHZ, a 10% increase. This isn’t the first performance upgrade announced by Microsoft as the GPU has already being increased by 6%.
The Xbox One will be sold for $499/£429/€499. The console will include a 500GB hard drive, Blu-ray player, built in Wi-Fi, new Kinect, one Xbox One wireless controller and a free 14 day trial for Xbox Live Gold. There will also be a minimum of 23 Xbox One games available for purchase on November 22nd.
Sony’s PlayStation 4, Microsoft’s main competitor will be released on November 15th in North America and November 29th in Europe. This means that the Xbox One will be released before the PS4 is released in Europe, but after it is released in North America.
