Take a look at the next-gen technology in Assassin’s Creed IV
Ubisoft has released a new Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag video. The new video takes a look at the next-generation technology used to create the world.
In the video Associate Producer, Sylvain Trottier talks about and explains the game’s sea engine which contains a shallow water shaders etc., weather system which contains rain particles made from thousands of individual raid drops each one a particle that is independently lit, new lighting this contains a brand new global illumination technology which now has light changing depending on the properties of the reflective materials. There is more to the video, but I think I’ll let the video explain the rest.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will be released on November 1st for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U on November 1st. The game will also be available for PC on November 23rd and during the launch window of both the Xbox One and PS4.
