Devil Survivor 2 looks like it might be released as Ghostlight has announced that the game has being pre-ordered by 627 people. Ghostlight has set a target of 1,800 pre-orders by August 30th. If they fail to reach this target the game will not be sold.

Ghostlight revealed the number via a blog post on their official website. The entry said the following:

“The other thing you’ve all been asking about is how the Devil Survivor 2 pre-orders are going. Well I do now have numbers for you and I can report that we have had 627 pre-orders so far. As terrific as the response has been, and we thank you enormously for your support, but we know that there are still a number of you out there that would like to join this very select group. We would like remind everyone that he pre-order for DS2 and the DS2/DSO double pack are only open for another two weeks. The closing date is set for 30th August 2013.”

If you are interested in pre-ordering the DS game you can pre-order either the standalone release for €29.99/£24.99 or the Devil Survivor Bundle which includes Devil Survivor Overclocked (3DS) for €59.98/£49.98.
