During today’s Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata announced an array of new Wii U titles. These new titles include: two Zelda games, a new Mario and Mario Kart and a new Yoshi game.

The two Zelda games announced include a remake of GameCube game, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker and a brand new Zelda game.

The new Mario game will be a 3D Mario action game for the Wii U. The game is being developed by the Nintendo EAD Tokyo Software Development team who created the Super Mario Galaxy games and Super Mario 3D Land.

After over ten years of waiting Yoshi will finally be getting his own game. The new game will be made by the same team that created Kirby’s Epic Yarn and it will be supervised by Takashi Tezuka, director of Yoshi’s Island and Yoshi’s Story. According to the Nintendo Direct presentation, the new Yoshi game will be set in a world of yarn and textiles.
