Codemasters has today released a new video for their upcoming racing game, GRID 2. The video combines both live action and in-game footage of a head to head race at Brands Hatch.

The video is part one of a three part series that follows Chris Harris, motoring journalist and contributor to YouTube’s DRIVE channel, who is working with Codemasters to provide an insight into car handling and vehicle selection for the game. In the above video, Chris drives a McLaren MP4-12c in a head to head race with McLaren test driver, Mat Jackson, and Chris uses in-game expertise from GRID 2 and Codemasters staff to gain the advantage.

While the video is mostly live action, the video does contain in-game footage of Brands Hatch circuit and of the McLaren MP4-12c.

Along with the video Codemasters released some new screenshots featuring Brands Hatch.

GRID 2 will be available summer 2013 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
