According to gametrailers.com Daniel Erickson, the lead designer on Star Wars: The Old Republic has parted company with Bioware.

Daniel Erickson’s departure was confirmed via his twitter feed, where he stated he is now job hunting after leaving Bioware.

Daniel Erickson’s departure is the latest in string of high profile employees leaving Star Wars: The Old Republic. Rich Vogel, SWTOR’s executive producer left Bioware to oversee Bethesda’s new Austin based studio called Battlecry Studios.

With Erickson’s departure the question now arises who has taken his place as lead designer and what does this mean for future story content for Star Wars: The Old Republic?
