During today’s Nintendo pre-E3 show a new Wii U controller was revealed called ‘Wii U Pro controller’. The controller takes away the gimmicks of Wii U gamepad and leaves you with the bare essentials.

As you can see from the above picture the Pro controller resembles many standard controllers with dual analog stick, num pad etc. The new controller means that it could be easier for games to be ported to the Wii U as developers could aim for games that use the Pro controller.
