At E3 2012 it has being revealed that Tokyo Jungle the animal based action game for the PlayStation 3 will be heading to Europe.

If the trailer above is anything to go by Tokyo Jungle seems utterly crazy, but in a way that makes me want to play it.

Tokyo Jungle is a game based in a world where humans are extinct, pets have gone feral, zoo animals have escaped captivity and wild creatures are ruling the streets of Tokyo – and all are facing a savage battle for survival.

Here is a look at the games features:

• Hunt prey, feast on plants and do whatever it takes to stay alive.
• Find a mate and then continue the fight for survival as your offspring, with each generation growing stronger.
• Play as dozens of different animals from dogs to deer, lions, crocodiles, dinosaurs and more.
• Upgrade your skills by unlocking and wearing items of clothing.
• Face challenging missions and discover why humans have disappeared.
• Team up with a pal in two-player missions offline.
• Earn trophies and compare your survival skills in online leaderboards.

At present there is no release date for Tokyo Jungle.
