In yesterdays earnings report by Take Two interactive it was revealed that 2K Games shooter XCOM would be delayed until Q2 2013 at the earliest.

In the earnings report it says “2K Games now expects to release XCOM, its shooter version of the franchise that is in development at 2K Marin, during fiscal year 2014.”

Fiscal year 2014 is between April 1, 2013 and March 31, 2014.
