Studio Liverpool has released the intro video for the Vita game Wipeout 2048. The video shows of the evolution of motor racing in the games universe. Check out the video below.

The intro draws you into the idea of what motor racing could be like in the future as the intro shows vehicles that were used in the past and open cockpit racing of today, but then shows near antigravity racing the antigravity racing of the Wipeout ships.

As a bonus to the intro the games directors released a version of the intro with commentary with them discussing why certain shots etc. where used for the intro.

Wipeout 2048 will be available from February 22, 2012 exclusive to the PlayStation Vita.
