Following a successful private beta this past November and December Lightbox has announced that their PS3 exclusive ‘Starhawk’ will be going into public beta starting Tuesday, January 17.

The beta will not be open to all PS3 players as beta access will be rolled out over the months January and February. Below is the release schedule for the beta for EU and NA participants.

• January 17(NA) and 18(EU): PlayStation Plus subscribers and Private beta participants will have access.
• January 31(NA) and February 1 (EU): Those who got beta keys in Uncharted 3 will be able to take part in the beta.
• February 7 (NA) (not known if EU players can take part): GameStop and PlayStation will be giving away a limited amount of beta keys on their Facebook pages.
• February 14 (NA) (not known if EU players can take part): IGN.com will be doing a deal involving the beta, but not much information is known.
• February 21 (NA) and February 22 (EU): All PlayStation Network account holders will have access to the game.
