Soul Calibur V development completed
Namco Bandai has announced that Project Soul has completed development on Soul Calibur V for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
SOULCALIBUR V picks up 17 years after the events of SOULCALIBUR IV with new heroes and returning warriors clashing in an epic showdown between good and evil. The tale of Patroklos, son of Sophitia Alexandra, unfolds as his family’s destiny becomes entwined with the Soul swords.
Soul Calibur V sees improved character customization and new gameplay features which include the Critical Edge and Quick Move.
Like Soul Calibur IV there is also a type of guest playable character who has nothing to do with the series in Soul Calibur V. Soul Calibur IV’s guest characters were Master Yoda and Darth Vader from Star Wars, but instead of having 2 guest characters from IV which was one for each platform V will have one and it is Ezio Auditor de Firenze from Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series.
Also to celebrate the completion of the game over 50 new screenshots have being released.
Soul Calibur V will be available for purchase on January 31 (NA) and February 3 (EU) for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
