Bioware has lifted the lid fully on the Kinect functionality for Xbox 360 version of Mass Effect 3 in a new video and also the release date for the ME3 demo has been revealed.

The Kinect will work with Mass Effect 3 by allowing you to shout orders at Sheppard and your squad mates. The video of it in action shows people shouting for example shouting “Concussive shot” which sees Sheppard perform a concussive shot with his gun. From the looks of the video below it seems that voice commands work well, but there is a nagging feeling that the Kinect will not always pick up what you shout in the heat of battle.

Also in more Mass Effect 3 news Bioware has announced that the Mass Effect 3 demo will be out on February 14, 2012 and will be on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
