The latest Magicka expansion The Stars are Left is now available for purchase via all good online stores for $5.99.

The new expansion sees an overhauled engine and a new change of pace to the game. The expansion is set a few years into the future where unholy terror from beyond time and space have descended upon the land and it us up to you and a few friends to save the world once more.

To go along with the release of the expansion Paradox Interactive and Arrowhead Studios has released a brand new trailer.

The Stars are Left will feature:

• All new adventure including several levels steeped in Lovecraftian lore
• 2 Challenge maps
• 2 new robes
• 2 new bosses
• New achievements
• Several new enemies
• New Items and Magicks
• Innovative and dynamic spellcasting system with thousands of possible combinations.
• Up to four player co-op in all game modes as well as single player option.

Also 2 more addition DLC has being released today called Magicka: Holiday Spirit and Magicka: Horror Props. These 2 DLC packs include an array of new items for people to use in Challenge and versus modes games.
