OnLive has officially announced that their UK retail partner will be GAME. OnLive officially launched in the UK area today.

The retail store GAME will be the first store selling the OnLive console in the UK for a retail price of £69.99.

OnLive will also be offering a subscription package in the UK which will allow players give consumers access to the multiplayer portion of over 100 games for a fee of £6.99 per month.

Players will also be able to rent games for 3-5 days for around £2-£4 per game. This idea shows a great turn to PC rental which is rarely done especially in rental stores like Extravision.

On the launch of OnLive in the UK Steve Perlman, CEO of OnLive said “OnLive will utterly transform gaming in the UK,”. It will take time to see if these words turn true.
