Today saw the official announcement of the latest Dragon Quest RPG by Square Enix. The game will be called “Dragon Quest X: Mezamesi Itsutsu no Shuzoku Onrain”, the English translation is Dragon Quest X: The Wake of the Five Tribes Online”.

This game will be as you can guess an online RPG aka an MMO and will be on the Wii and Wii U which means it will be the first MMO on the present and future Nintendo console.
The Wii U and Wii versions will be separate in terms of looks because since the Wii U can provide better visuals over the Wii, the Wii U version will see enhanced graphics. Also both versions will have cross platform compatibility.

Dragon Quest X will have connectivity with the 3DS. The connectivity will see a system which will allow players to transfer their characters to the 3DS.

Dragon Age X is due to be released sometime in 2012 and may launch at the same time as the Wii U.
