On Monday Bantam announced that it would be publishing the official novel of Techlands’s zombie game Dead Island. The book is written by Mark Morris who is an award winning British Fantasy award winner. He has written several Torchwood and Doctor Who novels along with Fiddleback (2001), Nowhere near an Angel (2005) and many more great novel.
The Dead Island novel follows 4 guests of the 5 star Royal Palms Resort which is supposed to be a once in a lifetime dream holiday but the holiday goes bad as a mysterious zombie outbreak rips through the island they are on. The 4 guests need to stand strong against the zombies and try to survive and flee the island.

Dead Island (Novel) will be out in all good bookshops on September 8 2011 and priced at £6.99. This is a day before the Dead Island (video game) is released.
