Bigpoint have added a big update for Battlestar Galactica Online. The update will see instanced PVP matches both ranked or duel.

Ranked matches will see players paired against each other depending on arena rating, ship size and class in closed of private areas of space. Also those who take part in these ranked matches will appear on a leader board in which the top 100 players will receive a special icon above their name.

If ranked matches are your thing you can take part in duel which are 1V1 games with no restrictions unlike in ranked matches, but no rewards can be gained form it.

Now away from the PVP space we will see 2 new star systems added to the game which are Nilfhel and Muspell and they will be in the Veil Sector the 2 star systems will contain high level NPCs for squadrons to conquer. Also PvP notifications and blockade warnings will also begin appear on the star systems.
