Well the PlayStation press conference has finished. In comparison to the EA press conference it was rather poor. In less than 30 minutes the next big press conference of the day is starting and this one is for the PlayStation. The conference will be shown live on http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/08/16/watch-the-gamescom-press-conference-live/ at 7PM local time, 1PM Easter, 7AM Pacific. Make sure you check it out. *Edit* Ok it has started early.

Well not long ago EA’s press conference has finished and some great info on some of EA’s upcoming were dropped along with some great videos. Below is what was discussed at the press conference.

Valve has released the first trailer for DOTA 2 which is a sequel to the popular mod for Blizzard’s Warcraft 3 Defense of the Ancients. Namco Bandai has released another explosive trailer for the upcoming “Ace Combat: Assault Horizon”. The trailer shows a mixture of planes and helicopters you will be using in the campaign. Also the trailer treats us to a song from the soundtrack and keeps to the high standard you would expect in Ace Combat games.
