EA talks about their plans for more Star Wars games

Since EA has exclusive rights to publish Star Wars games, EA talked about some future Star Wars games during their E3 2016 press conference.

During the conference, EA revealed that there are currently three Star Wars games in production. DICE and Motive Studios are currently developing a new Star Wars Battlefront title due out in 2017; the new title will feature content from the new trilogy. Visceral Games (Dead Space series) are currently working on an untitled Star Wars title that will feature an original narrative with new characters, Visceral’s Star Wars game is due out in 2018. Finally, Respawn Entertainment (Titanfall) is working on an action adventure Star Wars game that will be set in a new era, no release window was given for Respawn’s Star Wars game.

Following the announcement that there three new Star Wars games in production, EA released a developer video featuring developers’ talk how great it is to work on a game based on Star Wars.
