Ubisoft has released an interesting live action trailer for Far Cry Primal, the trailer rewinds through humanity’s history of conflict from the future back to the stone age, the period the game is set in.

The central theme and title of the trailer is “The Charge”. This theme and title is exemplified by depicting a man charging into combat in various periods of history. The period’s shows are the future, World War 2, the Napoleonic war, a medieval conflict, and finally, the Stone Age where the man is confronting a sabre toothed tiger with only a bone weapon. The catch line for the trailer is “This time, it’s not about guns, it’s about guts.” The trailer seems to be about showing potential players just how different conflict was in the Stone Age compare to now.

Far Cry Primal will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 23rd. The game will be available on Windows PC on March 1st.
