Fallout 4 DLC detailed
Fallout 4 fans get ready for some new content, as Bethesda has released details for the first three pieces of Fallout 4 DLC.
The three pieces of DLC, which will be released once a month starting March and ending in May, are called Automatron, Wasteland Workshop, and Far Harbour.
Bethesda has released the following information for the three upcoming pieces of DLC.
Automatron

Release: March 2016The mysterious Mechanist has unleashed a horde of evil robots into the Commonwealth, including the devious Robobrain. Hunt them down and harvest their parts to build and mod your own custom robot companions. Choose from hundreds of mods; mixing limbs, armor, abilities, and weapons like the all-new lightning chain gun. Even customize their paint schemes and choose their voices!
Wasteland Workshop
Price: £3.99
Release: April 2016With the Wasteland Workshop, design and set cages to capture live creatures – from raiders to Deathclaws! Tame them or have them face off in battle, even against your fellow settlers. The Wasteland Workshop also includes a suite of new design options for your settlements like nixi tube lighting, letter kits, taxidermy and more!
Far Harbor
Price: £19.99
Release: May 2016A new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency leads you on a search for a young woman and a secret colony of synths. Travel off the coast of Maine to the mysterious island of Far Harbor, where higher levels of radiation have created a more feral world. Navigate through the growing conflict between the synths, the Children of Atom, and the local townspeople. Will you work towards bringing peace to Far Harbor, and at what cost? Far Harbor features the largest landmass for an add-on that we’ve ever created, filled with new faction quests, settlements, lethal creatures and dungeons. Become more powerful with new, higher-level armor and weapons. The choices are all yours.
Bethesda has stated that these three pieces of DLC is just the beginning, and are promising more than £45 worth of DLC throughout 2016.
The price for the announced DLC and upcoming DLC has created a noticeable change, this change is regarding the Fallout 4 season pass, which will have its price increase for £24.99 to £39.99 on March 1st. This price increase does not affect those who already own the season pass, just those who buy it after March 1st. Bethesda’s reasoning for the £15 price increase to the season pass is because they will be producing more DLC than they had originally planned to.
While the game is receiving paid DLC there will be free updates, these free updates are quality of life improvements to the game such as the recently released increased draw distance for consoles and weapon debris for PC.
For those who are interested in the mod aspect of Fallout 4, Bethesda has stated they are hard at work on the Creation Kit, which will allow players to create and play mods absolutely free. While there is no information regarding the creation kit, Bethesda has stated, “More details will be forthcoming”.
