Today, Ubisoft has announced Far Cry Primal, a brand new Far Cry title that takes place during the Stone Age.

Far Cry Primal will be released worldwide on February 23, 2016, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A PC version will be released in March 2016. The title will be developed by Ubisoft Montréal, in collaboration with Ubisoft Toronto, Ubisoft Shanghai Studio, and Ubisoft Kiev Studio.

To explain the reasoning behind the next Far Cry game taking place during the Stone Age, Ubisoft released a behind the scenes video where the developers discuss the creative vision behind Far Cry Primal.
