Koei Tecmo has today announced a collaboration with Kodansha to develop and publish a game based on the popular anime series Attack on Titan.

While Koei Tecmo hasn’t revealed much on the game, even the game’s name has not been revealed. The company released a short 1-minute teaser trailer to get people interested in the title.

For those who have never heard of Attack on Titan is world where only a small number of humans have survived an attack by a group of creatures known as Titans, the anime sees humanity tries to survive in their walled-off city as Titans attempt to break through and eat what remains of the human population.

Attack on Titan is scheduled for a western release in 2016 on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita (it must be noted that this platform line-up is based on the Japan release, so the western version may not appear on all three of these platforms).
