Bandai Namco Games has revealed that their flight sim game, Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy + for the Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS/3DS XL will allow players to use their amiibo figures to unlock exclusive aircraft skins.

The aircraft skins available include Space Invaders, Pac-man, Bowser, Captain Falcon and many more. You can have a look at some of the unlockable skins below.

Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy + is an enhanced version of Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy, which was originally released on the Nintendo 3DS in 2011. The only major change between Legacy and Legacy + is the amiibo functionality.

Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy + will be available on February 13, for the New Nintendo 3DS/3DS XL and Nintendo 3DS. While the new Nintendo 3DS models have built in amiibo support, the older 3DS devices require an NFC adaptor.
