World of Warcraft fans rejoice as Blizzard has revealed that the game’s latest expansion Warlords of Draenor will be available on November 13. To go along with the release date Blizzard also revealed the expansions cinematic, which like previous WoW cinematics was very eye-catching.
The new cinematic takes players back in time to one of the most pivotal and iconic moments in World of Warcraft lore, the drinking of the blood of Mannoroth. This act corrupted the orcish race and turned them into minion of the Burning Legion. As shown in the trailer this time Garrosh, who had travelled back in time, stops his Orcs and his father Grommash Hellscream from drinking the demon blood and thus making sure they stay free. While the Orcs are now free, Grom, his father and leaders of the several Orcish clans have created the Iron Horde and is beginning their invasion of present day Azeroth, whose timeline somehow has not being altered.
After played World of Warcraft for around four years, this new expansion really has not sparked any desire to return to the MMO. Although for those who are still fans of the game, the new expansion gives players hopefully a good bit of fun.
It will be interesting to see how Warlords of Draenor does as World of Warcraft has begun to bleed subscribers with the current figure standing at 6.8 million, the game saw 800,000 players leave
during the last financial quarter. While 6.8 million is a lot for any MMO at its peak, World of Warcraft had around 12 million subscribers
