On February 21, 2013 by Aaron Meehan

During yesterday’s PS Meeting we got a small surprise. That surprise was an announcement of a PlayStation game from Blizzard. At the meeting, it was officially announced that Diablo III will coming to PS3/PS4.

Yes, Diablo III, the action role playing game which sold incredibly well on the PC will be coming to both the PS3 and PS4.

The PS3 and PS4 version of Diablo III will come with everything the PC version has, including the Paragon levelling system, customizable monster power, brawling and epic Legendary items. The PlayStation version of Diablo III will feature some design changes to make the game work well with the PlayStation consoles, these changes include: An all-new user interface, including an intuitive control scheme and a new dynamic camera perspective that will make questing and combat in the world of Sanctuary feel like second nature on PlayStation platforms.

If you are a Diablo fan and heading to PAX east next month, you are in for a treat, because at PAX East, Blizzard will be showing off for the first time live gameplay footage of the PS3 version of Diablo III.

Finally Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment said the following about the PlayStation version of Diablo III.

“We put a lot of care and thought into the PlayStation version to make sure it would deliver an authentic Diablo gaming experience, and we’re really pleased with the results. We can’t wait for players to try it out at PAX East.”

At present there is no release date available for either the PS3 or PS4 version of Diablo III. To keep up to date with all things Diablo III, visit the official website at http://www.diablo3.com.
