Assassin’s Creed III alternative history DLC announced

Ever wonder what it would be like if George Washington decided to abandon democracy and become king? Well you can experience it in the Assassin’s Creed III DLC “The Tyranny of King Washington”.

“The Tyranny of King Washington” will be an all-new single player campaign story spread across three DLC which will allow you to experience an alternate history of the American Revolution.

The official Ubisoft press release had the following to say on DLC’s story:

It’s 1783. As the revolution comes to a close, a new and most unexpected enemy emerges. Driven by the desire to secure the fate of the colonies, George Washington, the greatest hero of the revolution, succumbs to the temptation of infinite power. The new King is born and his reign leaves no one untouched. To return freedom to the land, our new hero Connor must dethrone a tyrant he once called friend.

The single player DLC will be available via the Assassin’s Creed III season pass which will provide players will all five DLCs, scheduled for release within six months after release, for 2,400 MS points on Xbox Live or €29.99 on the PlayStation store.

DLC for Assassin’s Creed III will include the all-new single player campaign, new maps and characters for the game multiplayer.
