DICE today announced an open multiplayer beta for their hotly anticipated FPS Battlefield 3 and has scheduled it for September 29, 2011 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

The beta will consist of 1 map which is set in Paris on the metro map which allows players to go into the cities metro and lush parks, along with only 1 map there will be 1 game mode which will be the popular Rush Mode.

If you had pre-ordered a copy of Medal of Honor Limited Edition you will gain early access to the beta from September 27, 2011 (2 days before it starts).
