Battlefield 3 breaks 1.5 million pre-orders
A new report by Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia has said that the upcoming shooter Battlefield 3 has passed 1.5 million pre-orders.
The previous released BF3 figures where that of 1.25 million pre-orders. The numbers have surpassed the previous battlefield game called Battlefield: Bad Company 2 whose number have not being confirmed but EA did say it did pass the previous games sales.
Bhatia stated one of the reasons for the large number of pre-orders is the fact that the pre-order bonus includes a free map pack. Bhatia said “Note that BF3 will include a map pack if the game is pre-ordered”.
Bhatia also noted that there will likely be “a natural slowdown in sales” when Modern Warfare 3 launches.
