Valve has released the first trailer for DOTA 2 which is a sequel to the popular mod for Blizzard’s Warcraft 3 Defense of the Ancients.

DOTA 2 is a blend of online RTS and RPG action which has proven popular especially after the original DOTA and with League of Legends and Heroes of Newerth it begins to grow more and more.

DOTA 2 will make its public appearance at this year’s Gamescom and the first DOTA 2 tournament will take place at the same time which offers $1 million to the winning team.
