Deus Ex: Human Revolution grabs #1 spot in the UK

On August 31, 2011 by Ash Meehan

Finally after 10 weeks we have a new #1 video game in the UK “All Platforms Top 10”. For 10 weeks the fitness game “Zumba Fitness” which is developed by Pipeworks and published by 505 Games.

The game that has dethroned it was the highly anticipated “Deus Ex: Human Revolution” by Eidos Montreal.

The sales number for the game is not known, but it has being reported that it has already sold 26,000 units less than “Deus Ex: Invisible War” managed in its lifetime which was over 1 million units.

It appears hype for the Deus Ex prequel was matched by strong sales. In the “UK Individual Platforms Top 10” Deus Ex: Human Revolution is present taking 1st, 2nd and 5th. First went to the Xbox 360 version followed by the PS3 version and surprisingly the PC version was the lowest of the 3 of them.

Personally I can see why Deus Ex: Human Revolution is doing so well, I have played a bit of it and I am enjoying the versatility of the game when it comes to trying to complete main and sub quests.
