Homefront map pack finally hits PC version

On July 14, 2011 by Ash Meehan

Well after just over a month the Fire Sale Map Pack has hit the PC version of THQ and Kaos Studios first person shooter Homefront. The map pack contains 2 maps which are Spillway and Big Box and the price is €1.99 on Steam.
But apparently it wouldn’t be Homefront news without some issue. During the Steam summer sale people who got enough tickets could use them to purchase items for certain games and one was for a free copy of the Homefront map pack Fire Sale, but at present there seems to be no way for people who took this item reward to use it. This issue PC users who bought the ticket not exactly happy. Hopefully this is just a temporary issue since it was just released and will be fixed asap.

The adding of the map pack also brought a few recent changes and 2 new steam achievements.
