The latest Stargate Resistance trailer released back in May on Steam is proving to be a success as far as trailers go. It currently seats #1 after nearly a week on steam.

The trailer is ahead of Team Fortress 2 trailers meet the sniper, meet the spy and meet the scout as well as Sid Meier’s Civilization V teaser and the portal trailer.

The Stargate Resistance trailer itself is pretty different from the original trailer that was released back in February. The video shows of the new content including the now released planet Leonops and a hint at the new weapon DLC by showing of a Zat’nik’tel in the hands of a SGC soldier. Including these are some excellent shot of combat with cinematic like footage.

All in all it appears SGR is getting coverage but is the success translating well to game sales? Well only time will tell.
