UPDATE: Final Fantasy Dissidia NT for PS4 announced
Square Enix has officially confirmed that Final Fantasy Dissidia NT will be released in both Europe and North America for PlayStation 4 in 2018. The confirmation also included an announcement trailer.
With E3 just around the corner, it seems Amazon may have jumped the gun as they have revealed the potential existence of Final Fantasy Dissidia NT for PS4.
Square Enix’s Final Fantasy Dissidia NT could potentially be the PlayStation 4 version of Japanese arcade fighting game Dissidia Final Fantasy, which was released in November 2015. The arcade game developed by Team Ninja is a three-on-three battle game where characters from various Final Fantasy titles fight, characters in the arcade game include Cloud from Final Fantasy VII, Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII and Y’shtola from Final Fantasy XIV.
Square Enix previously released Dissidia Final Fantasy for PlayStation Portable in 2009; the game was later followed by Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy for PlayStation Portable in 2011. Just like in the 2015 arcade game.
If the appearance on Amazon is to be believed, Final Fantasy Dissidia NT is the long-awaited PlayStation 4 version of the arcade game.
