Vanquish is making its way to PC later this month

On May 10, 2017 by Ash Meehan

SEGA has put an end to weeks of speculation as they have officially announced that Vanquish is coming to PC, via Steam, on May 25th.

Vanquish was originally released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360in October 2010, where it received largely positive reviews from critics as they praised the games fast paced nature and over-the-top style.

Vanquish is the latest in a growing list of SEGA games making its way to PC as it joins Bayonetta, Typing of the Dead, Valkyria Chronicles and the SEGA Mega Drive Collection on Steam. Speaking of Bayonetta, those who own Bayonetta on Steam or purchase it before May 25th will automatically get 25% off when they pre-order Vanquish.

The PC port of Vanquish will see a host of PC optimised options, including an unlocked frame rate, 4K resolution support, extensive graphics options, and full keyboard and mouse support.

For those who are unaware of Vanquish, SEGA has offered the following description.

Directed by Shinji Mikami, the creator of the Resident Evil series, VANQUISH is a sci-fi shooter of epic proportion. Take control of DARPA operative Sam Gideon, who has been assigned a mission to battle legions of future-tech enemies using a vast arsenal of weapons. VANQUISH boasts fluid and frenetic combat, spectacular melee moves, and intense speed, wrapped in a gripping story.
